A number of fellowships that cover the accomodation (full board in Marina Hotel in a double-room) are available for both pre registered people and people that register after 26 May. Exceptionally, we can consider different situations.

The fellowships do not cover fees and travel expenses. NOVICOSMO 2009 cannot waive the fees or support travel expenses.

Before applying to a fellowship we advice to carefully read the requirements and the guidelines that we will adopt to in assigning them.

*Requirements*
1) Age less than 30 years.
2) A brief Curriculum Vitae including the motivations of the interest for the School, alongside with a recommendation letter by an academic researcher (to be sent to salucci@sissa.it).
3) To be a graduate, post-graduate or phd student or a young Post-Doc/researcher.

Applications that do not comply with the above will not processed.
*Preferences*
a) age, the younger the better
b) currently studying or working at institutions in Africa, East Europe, Latin and Central America or Asian undeveloped countries.

A particular attention will be given to people that applied to the SISSA or Rijeka University PHD program or involved in joint scientific projects with these institutions.

Novicosmo 09 will try to grant fellowships equally among genders.
